The 2023 photo competition is now open for entries and we’ve already had our first entries. This year we’ve kept the same categories as in 2022: Main (Open), Flocks (Open) and Young Photographer. Our definition of a flock is at least five birds of the same species (in flight, or on the ground) in a single photo. Doesn’t have to be limited to five – seabird flocks and Starling murmurations are very welcome! All the details  can be found here and  entry forms are available in PDF and Word formats. We’ve kept the same prizes as in 2022, including the top prize for a young photographer of a week’s accommodation on Bardsey Island in 2024 – thank you very much to Bardsey for their generosity.

Entries need to be submitted by midnight on 31 December 2023 and we’ll acknowledge that we’ve received them.
