Speakers at our recent Conference demonstrated the value and impact of local citizen science projects across Wales, several of which have been helped by grant funding. WOS has awarded two Project Grants and two Community Grants earlier in 2024 and three applications within the 31st December 2024 deadline are now under consideration. We’ll let you know the outcomes of these and there’s plenty of room (and money) for more applications for June 2025.

The deadline for the President’s Award is the end of January 2025. So far, we have not received any firm enquiries or expressions of interest about this and it’s a golden opportunity to organise a larger community or project application than our regular grant schemes would allow.
