We are now inviting applications for small grants of up to 75% (maximum £1000) of the cost of a project that meets the WOS criteria for work that aids our conservation knowledge of one or more of the key species identified on the application form. Further monies may be available for the continuation of the project into 2022 should the interim project results indicate that there would be a real conservation benefit.
Only one grant was awarded in 2020 and the fieldwork has had to be postponed until 2021 because of COVID, but this doesn’t reduce the amounts available for the coming year. There is guidance on how to apply and what you might apply for, together with an application form here.
